Doctor in Law with a Diploma in Advertising. Prior to taking up his current position, Miguel Angel Ximénez de Embún has occupied a number of senior posts in Public Relations and Communications including Technical Director of Clarín Publicidad, and Coordination Manager of McCann Erickson International for the SW division of Coca-Cola Europe. |

Rafael Ordovás Gómez-Jordana
Chief Executive and Founder of Eurocofín
Qualified with a degree in Law from the University of Madrid and in Business Studies at ICADE, Rafael Ordovás Gómez-Jordana holds a Diploma in the EEC from La Escuela Diplomática. Before founding Eurocofín, he was General Manager of First Chicago Limited in Spain, Manager of First National Bank of Chicago, and has over eighteen years experience in the banking sector (Barclays Bank, Banco Central and Banco Ibérico). |

Tom Burns
Marañón
Director
Formerly Assistant to the Chairman and Director of Communications at Recoletos
Grupo de Comunicación, the Madrid media group, Tom read Modern
History at Oxford University. The author of several books on Spanish politics
and society, he was covered the country‚s post-Franco transition
for Reuters, was Spain correspondent for Newsweek and The Washington Post
in the 1980‚s and Madrid correspondent for the Financial Times in
the 1990‚s. In the 2001 New Years Honours list he was awarded the
OBE for services to UK-Spain relations. |

Charles Elwell
Director
With an M.A. in History and Economics from Christ Church, Oxford University and post-graduate studies at The London Business School, Charles Elwell served in the British Army as an officer in the Household Division. He worked at Electra Investment Trust, First National Bank of Chicago Ltd and Robert Flemming Ltd where he gained experience in venture capital, IPO's and privatisations. He has been Associate Director of Eurocofín since 1995. |

Elena Fernández-Trapiella
Manager Partner
Elena Fernanádez-Trapiella has a bachelor degree in Economics and Corporate Finance at CUNEF (Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros) and graduate at N. York University, School of Continuing Education. The new head of Eurocofín's Investor Relations Department has been General Director at UBS Management between 1998 and 2002. Before this, she worked for ten years at Santander Investment, as Assistant Director of the Instituitional Sales Department and Vice President of the Research Department. From September 1990 to January 1992 she worked at Kemper Securities Group in New York.
